| by Michael Allen

A tank explosion at a petrochemical plant was caught on video (below) this morning in Rizhao, China.

The Guardian reports that over 200 firefighters and 40 fire trucks were called after a tank filled with liquified hydrocarbon blew up.

Australia's 9News reports that firefighters from nearby Qingdao City assisted locals in fighting the blaze, but it's not clear if anyone was injured in the blast or the fire.
