A man claiming to be the son of former President Bill Clinton wished the former commander in chief a happy Father's Day on June 18.
Danney Williams, 31, sent Clinton a message for Father's Day through a series of tweets.
"Even though you abandoned me and only took care of Chelsea [Clinton], I still want to thank you for giving me life," Williams wrote on Twitter, referencing Bill and his wife Hillary's daughter Chelsea, reports the Daily Mail.
Williams, who is African-American, has perpetuated the theory that Chelsea is not Bill's biological daughter but rather the daughter of former Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell.

"I'm not looking for sympathy nor welfare," Williams continued. "I just wish you didn't forget about me."
Williams claims his mother, Bobbie Ann, met Clinton while working as a prostitute in Little Rock, Arkansas, during Clinton's term as governor of the state. Williams said his mother became pregnant with him after one of their several flings during Clinton's time in the office.
"Everywhere I went, they pointed out: 'It's Bill Clinton's son right there. You look like him, don't you? The ears, the mouth, the chin, the teeth, the eyes, the nose'. I see him in me," Williams said in a 2016 video.
Williams told Breitbart in a 2016 interview that his mother met the then-governor while out on a jog. The two became close and soon developed an intimate relationship. Williams claims his mother would receive child support in cash delivered by state troopers, but that stopped once Clinton reached the White House.

"Back in ’95, I was in school and he was the president, there were times I would be seeing him on TV -- and it just hurt,” he said. "I just really wanted to know -- and it felt horrible because I knew his child Chelsea was well taken care of -- and me? Hungry at night and knowing, who my father is, you know that hurts."
DNA samples have been taken from both Williams and Clinton -- Clinton's was available as part of the public record -- and used to debunk Williams' claims, according to The Washington Post. Paternity tests taken in 1999 determined that Clinton was definitively not William's biological father.
In November 2016, Williams sent a direct address to then-President Barack Obama, pleading with him to force Clinton to submit to a DNA test, according to The Sun.
"President Obama, I have to know who I am. I have to know that my father and stepmother will accept me, their black son."
