Biker Saves Burned, Injured Cat At Truck Stop (Photos)

A biker traveling from California to Nevada rescued an injured, burned cat he came across at a truck stop during his trip.

Pat Doody said he noticed the kitty while stopping for gas, and quickly realized he needed help.

“He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest,” he said. Doody then decided to take his new friend along with him on the remainder of his trip. He named the kitten Party Cat, and the two became fast friends.

“He’s so chill,” Doody said. “He just hangs out in my vest when we get on the road. I’ve never met a cat so calm.”

Party Cat now lives with Doody at his home in New Jersey, where he was taken to a vet for treatment and is now happy and healthy.

“His burns are pretty much all healed up except for the little spot on his lip,” the biker said. "We’ve been keeping it clean and using [N]eosporin. It looks a lot better and doesn’t seem to be bothering him.”
