Talk show host Alex Jones suggested on Feb. 13 that singer Jennifer Lopez should go to Somalia where she will be "gang raped" (video below).
Jones was apparently upset by Lopez's speech at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 12. Lopez was giving the award for Best New Artist when she referred to author Toni Morrison, notes Bustle:
I will never forget my first Grammy nomination ... or the dress I wore that night. But this night is not about dresses, or even awards; it is about music -- the words and the voices. How they move us and inspire us and touch all of our lives. At this particular point in history, our voices are needed more than ever.
As Toni Morrison once said, "This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self pity, no need for silence, and no room for fear. We do language. That is how civilizations heal."

Jones began to play a clip of Lopez's speech on his InfoWars Internet broadcast, but stopped, and attacked her for being wealthy and speaking out, reports Media Matters:
Stop, stop, stop. Back it up, back it up. Who is this? Who is this tart? I forget who she is. J-Lo. So again, giant corporate people making hundreds of millions of dollars, up there with their perfect manicured everything. All the leftists from these big foundations, where 1 or 2 percent of the money goes to the Africans.
And they hoard the money for themselves, like the Clintons and Oprah, and all the rest of it. And then she’s up there, "Oh and we just gotta do something, it’s we’re so oppressed, it’s all so horrible, what will--."
Yes, let’s critique this "it’s so terrible, what are we, it’s so ... and Trump wants to build factories for poor people." He doesn’t want to bring people in from Somalia where women are sold on slave box. Why don’t you go to Somalia for five minutes, lady, you’ll be gang raped so fast it’ll make your head spin. Let's go back to her.
