Airplane Passengers Sing Happy Birthday To Paralyzed Girl (Video)

Mazzy, 4, suffers from Spina Bifida and is paralyzed from the chest down, but she had a reason to smile during a flight on Southwest Airlines earlier this month.

The flight attendant announced to the passengers that it was Mazzy's birthday, asked everyone to close their window shades (to create some darkness) and turn on their overhead call lights as makeshift birthday candles, noted the Daily Mail (video below).

The passengers then sang to the small child, who got a gift bag from the crew.

Mazzy's mom Brein Bjorson Marzano and sister Birkly were flying with the jovial passengers from Tampa to Pittsburgh.

Birkly reportedly told Marzano to tell the fight crew about Mazzy's birthday so that the little girl could get a free wing pin, but the crew went an extra step.

A cell phone video of the "birthday party" went viral, prompting Marzano to write on Facebook:

Just feeling overwhelmed with blessings and birthday wishes from strangers all over the globe! Mazzys birthdays are always a bit emotional for us. This one takes the cake! #‎nopunintended Go out of your way for someone just may make a huge difference!

Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Hebrews 13:1-2
