A Utah police department’s response to a wanted man’s Facebook post has gone viral.

The Orem Police Department was searching for a man with several warrants out for his arrest on Feb. 24, KUTV reported.

The man had posted a photo of himself on Facebook flashing a gang sign in front of an Orem Police patrol car at a 7-11 parking lot, according to the police department's Facebook post.

“What are this marranos doing in my hood they know We keep it Active eFe up,” he wrote as the caption.

The post proved to be a mistake as police were able to locate the man shortly after. They proceeded to deliver their own message on Facebook.

They also attached a photo of the man's mug shot.

The hilarious Facebook post garnered over 1,000 likes in two days.
