7-Year-Olds' "Single Ladies" Performance "Taken Out of Context"

When the "Single Ladies" video controversy broke, we went to World of Dance (the event the girls performed at) for an official comment.

"These dancers are passionate and talented," Larry Peters, Executive Vice President of The Hozman Group and rep for World of Dance, tells momlogic. "I fear this single performance has been taken out of context. These are great kids -- and the parents I met are wonderful, as is the dance troupe."

Peters says World of Dance has no direct affiliation with any specific dance troupe. World of Dance is an open forum for top dancers and dance troupes to compete and express themselves in dance and choreography.
