Senate Must Reject "No to Jesus, Yes to Allah" Judge Hamilton

The Senate is poised to vote on the nomination of Judge David Hamilton to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. His nomination must be defeated. Hamilton would be an unqualified disaster on the Circuit Court.

David Hamilton is a judicial activist par excellence. By nominating him, President Obama is fulfilling his campaign promise to pick judges on the basis of “empathy” for interest groups favored by the left, rather than experience, objectivity or commitment to the Constitution and rule of law.

As a district court judge, Hamilton ruled:

-- That prayers invoking the name of Jesus before sessions of the Indiana legislature are unconstitutional, but praying in the name of “Allah” passes constitutional muster. This ruling was reversed by the 7th Circuit Appeals Court – the very court Obama now wants to put Hamilton on.

-- Against the petition of a rabbi to include a menorah in a holiday display in the Indianapolis Municipal Building. Also reversed by the 7th Circuit.

-- Against a law putting modest restraints on abortion in Indiana (requiring informed consent and a waiting period). In his rulings, Hamilton has been consistently -- some would say fanatically -- pro-abortion.

-- Against a common-sense sex offender law, thereby making it easier for pedophiles to prey on our children.

If that weren’t enough, prior to being appointed to the U.S. District Court by President Clinton, Hamilton was a fundraiser for ACORN (Voter Fraud R Us) and an ACLU activist. Do you want to see someone with this background on the U.S. Circuit Court?

Please, help us to defeat the Hamilton nomination. Don’t let the Democrats turn the Senate into a rubber-stamp for Obama’s anti-Constitution, anti-Christian, activist nominees.

Yet another jurist who applies the U.S. Constitution as written and interpreted by other courts rather than as religious-revisionists imagine the Founding Fathers wrote it.

What's a religious revisionist? What religion has not been continually revised by it's followers? Name one.

Here's a religious revisionist and "Founding Father" and his work:

Thomas Jefferson, "THE LIFE AND MORALS OF JESUS OF NAZARETH". I recommend it, since it leaves out all the insane-tooth-fairy crap in the source documents.

The Constitution is what empowers courts to interpret it, in the hopes it could be kept useful to a progressive union.
