Former '70s teen heartthrob Scott Baio is back in the news, and it's not good. Baio says he's getting death threats after posting an unflattering photograph of Michelle Obama on Twitter.

The "Happy Days" and "Charles in Charge" actor, who is also an outspoken Republican, posted the photo you see here on the left, with the caption:

"WOW He wakes up to this every morning."

Baio says reaction came fast and furious within minutes. Some people joked back, but others were very serious. One person wrote:

"Easy to find your house Scottie boy and finish YOU. I am a republican and I love Mrs O."

Baio was so concerned about the threats, he contacted the FBI.

For his part, Baio says he is not racist, pointing out the fact that his wife's best friend is black, and posting the woman's picture to prove it. He then added this Tweet:

"For New followers: I POST A LOT OF JOKES WITH PICS. They are JUST that, a joke. NOT targeting anyone. Laughter IS the best medicine."
