In the wake of a series of horrific school shootings, from Columbine to Virginia Tech, a growing number of voices are calling for colleges to allow concealed weapons on campus, saying that armed and law-abiding students would be able to stop these tragic incidents. But many gun violence prevention groups believe that adding more weapons to the mix would only further endanger students lives.
