Louisville Basketball: Ex-N.C. State Transfer Ryan Harrow Visits

| by

North Carolina State transfer point guard Ryan Harrow begins his quest to find a new school tomorrow and this weekend, he will make a trip to the UofL campus.

Harrow, along with his mother, will visit all five schools he’s considering starting tomorrow with a trip to Lexington. Afer visiting UK, the Harrows will head to Texas, then arrive in Louisville. Ryan is down to UofL, UK, Texas, Georgia, and St. John’s.

Harrow, 5-11 and 160 lbs, was a five-star prospect coming out of high school and signed with NC State. He averaged 9.3 points and 3.3 assists per game as a freshman, but left Raleigh over several issues. According to multiple reports, Harrow was frustrated with many things, mainly the Wolfpack’s style of play, which former head coach Sidney Lowe promised would be fast paced, but failed to deliver on that promise. Harrow was also reportedly upset over his lack of minutes after failing to win the starting point guard spot.

Whatever the case, Ryan Harrow is a player with big time potential and considering the UofL point guard situation, having a talent such as Harrow waiting in the wings for the 2012 season would be huge. The Cards will get their shot to lure him to the program this weekend.
