She may go to Harvard, but apparently Rudolph Giuliani's daughter is not too smart -- she was arrested for shoplifting, in the city where her father was so successful fighting crime.
According to New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne, 20-year-old Caroline Giuliani was caught on security cameras stealing five items worth more than $100 from a Sephora store in Manhattan on Wednesday.
The store declined to press charges, but prosecutors decided to charge her with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Caroline Giuliani was expected to be released sometime Wednesday evening.
She is believed to be estranged from her father, the former New York City mayor and one-time presidential candidate. Giuliani has also admitted to a strained relationship with his son, stemming from his messy, very public divorce from the childrens' mother.
