Right-Wing Militias Currently the #1 Domestic Terror Threat
As you may have seen in the news today, we've just released a new report about the resurgence of the right-wing militia movement — a movement steeped in paranoia and infused with a boiling rage against President Obama.
Back in 1994, we detected similar stirrings among those in the radical right, and we warned the federal government that the "mixture of armed groups and those who hate is a recipe for disaster." Six months later, 168 people were murdered in the Oklahoma City bombing.
Today, we're facing a similar situation. One federal agent told us that "all it's lacking is a spark."
Anti-government militias are just one part of an explosion of extremist rage in America — a backlash to Obama's election and to the progress we're making toward social justice and tolerance. These groups and their allies traffic in bizarre conspiracy theories — like the claim that Obama is not really a U.S. citizen and that he wants to euthanize senior citizens.
The Department of Homeland Security has recently warned that right-wing extremists such as these militias currently pose the No. 1 threat of domestic terrorism.
The fact is, we're already seeing acts of terror. Six law enforcement officers have been murdered by extremists in recent months, and Obama has received more threats than any other president.
We're working hard to keep law enforcement agencies at every level up to date with the latest and most accurate intelligence about these extremists and their activities.
Please read our new report and pass it along to your friends and family. We all need to stay informed so that we can fight back against this rising tide of extremism.
Thank you for supporting our work — and remember to speak out against hate and intolerance in your community.

and left wing are to be watched. And while your at it better watch those in the middle. I see some here know what the government classifies as possible terrorists. If you don't know I suggest you look it up and read it for yourself. It might surprise you.
Watch, watch, watch.
Listen, listen, listen.
Debate, debate, debate.
So when are the people going to DO something?
Why wasn't it considered extremism when the left endlessly attacked the previous half-wit in the White House? It was considered chic in elite media and entertainment circles to express death wishes for that president. Why wasn't it considered "boiling rage" then?
Oh, and that "birth certificate" business could be readily dismissed, if they'd just let an independent group check it out.
There are fringe groups in any dispute, but what one group gets called depends on the other group. Right wing terrorists? Some would call them Patriots of the highest order. Some would believe that these Patriots are the point men of the coming Revolution. For me, I don't take a firm position one way or the other, at least not for the moment, but I sure am glad to see that there are some people out there who would risk it all to make sure that we all have our undeniable rights. For now, I think we are still a nation operating under the rule of law , but I observe that rule of law being eroded by dirty politicians, and eventually the whole thing is going to come apart. Then we all will have to decide which side to take. Until then, Molon Labe my friends.
There's little doubt that King George III considered the Founders of our great nation as bible -thumpin', gun-totin', right-wing terrorists. mspatin, if you have not already done so, suggest you consider reading "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross and "The Last Centurion" by... I've forgotten the author's name (serious case of CRS).
Molon Labe, indeed.

Irish Coonass - are you kidding? An Irish Coanass? Check out the last part of my nama and you will see that I am indeed a transplanted Coonass myself. Of course I read Ross' book but not the other one. If you would be so kind as to send the author's name when you get a chance.
So do you speak French with an Irish accent?

Also listed as right-wing terrorists are those who want to secure our borders, those who oppose abortion , those who believe that the state should have power to set its own laws and be stronger than the federal government (which is exactly what the founding fathers wanted) let's not forget returning veterans and those who believe in the Bible's interpretation of the "end times".
So I guess you agree with those threats as well. Paranoia and narrow-mindedness still abounds today and the hatred you speak against flows from your own lips.
Waco, Ruby Ridge, Guantanamo, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba, Panama, F*k the list goes on!
The reason these "Right-Wing Extremists" (lmao) are upset is because our Constitution is being trampled on, BY THE PEOPLE SWORN TO UPHOLD IT!!!
Enough is enough an the time is near. The spark is coming and if you don't see it then you are not paying attention. Now this is not meant to be a threat in any way but I only suggest that like the boyscouts, be prepared.
These people are armed to the teeth ! Talk about gun-lovers, these folks have been stock-piling them for years.
If all it would take is a spark to send them off on a rampage, nation-wide, then we are really in some trouble....
It reminds me of the right wing folks and their fight to tell women how they can handle a pregnancy . This is a decision that is best left to the woman and her personal beliefs. They have no right to dictate to another human but that never stopped them. Now you have fanatics killing abortion doctors and blowing up abortion clinics. They are the ones to watch out for if you do not subscribe to their way of thinking, they want to kill you. Where in the bible is this part of their religion ???
