Report: Bristol Palin Will be "Dancing With the Stars"

When ABC announces the new cast of its hit show "Dancing With the Stars" next week, there will reportedly be at least one huge surprise name on the list -- Bristol Palin.

E! Online writes:

We can report to you exclusively that Sarah Palin's 19-year-old daughter Bristol Palin has been cast on the 11th season of "DWTS," set to premiere Sept. 20, according to sources.

This is not Bristol's first foray into the Hollywood world so eschewed by her mother. Palin appeared in an episode of "The Secret Life of an American Teenager," playing a single, teenaged mom -- a role Bristol plays in real life.

Nor is this the family's first reality show experience. Sarah Palin is currently taping a show for TLC about living in Alaska or something.

ABC wouldn't comment on the report, a spokesperson saying, "We don't comment on casting rumors. The real "Dancing With the Stars" cast will be revealed Monday, Aug. 30, live on ABC during "Bachelor Pad."

Other rumored cast members include actors Kirstie Alley, David Hasselhoff and Jennifer Grey, as well as reality show stalwarts Audrina Partridge and The Situation from "Jersey Shore."

Hmm, Bristol Palin and The Situation -- a match made in heaven? We can only wait and see, and hope. Wonder what Sarah Palin would say about that.
