Televangelist and convicted felon Jim Bakker announced on Nov. 8 that the election of Donald Trump was "the greatest miracle I have ever seen" (video below).
According to Right Wing Watch, Bakker was hosting a televised Election Night special on his show.
After declaring Trump's election a miracle, Bakker told his audience and his wife Lori Graham:
All the wise men said, 'No, it won’t happen.' They had the numbers. They said it can’t. Almost everybody around me was giving up. The prophets were even giving up because they were showing the odds and the numbers, and they said the numbers aren’t there. All the polls were wrong! All, all the polls were wrong, Lori, and the prophets were right! God was right!

The New York Times reports of the election:
Hillary Clinton didn’t just win the popular vote. She won it by a substantial margin. By the time all the ballots are counted, she seems likely to be ahead by more than 2 million votes and more than 1.5 percentage points, according to my Times colleague Nate Cohn. She will have won by a wider percentage margin than not only [Democratic nominee] Al Gore in 2000 but also [President] Richard Nixon in 1968 and [President] John F. Kennedy in 1960.
Bakker was not the only evangelist excited about Trump's victory, Franklin Graham wrote on his Facebook page on Nov. 10 that God put Trump in the White House:
Did God show up? In watching the news after the election, the secular media keep asking 'How did this happen?' 'What went wrong?' 'How did we miss this?' Some are in shock. Political pundits are stunned. Many thought the Trump/Pence ticket didn’t have a chance. None of them understand the God-factor.

Hundreds of thousands of Christians from across the United States have been praying. This year they came out to every state capitol to pray for this election and for the future of America. Prayer groups were started. Families prayed. Churches prayed. Then Christians went to the polls, and God showed up.
While the media scratches their heads and tries to understand how this happened, I believe that God’s hand intervened Tuesday night to stop the godless, atheistic progressive agenda from taking control of our country.
