Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Oct. 21 to discuss his presidential campaign, but would not reveal his religious or non-religious beliefs (video below).
Kimmel brought up a common argument that Sanders is not electable (even though he is surging in some polls), and asked him: "Do you believe in God and do you think that’s important to the people of the United States?” notes Joe My God.
