Orphans Better Without Home Than With Gay Parents, Says Pro-Family Group

| by Michael Allen

The Christian-based American Decency Association (ADA) recently claimed that orphans are better off without a home and waiting for heterosexual adoption than being adopted by gay parents.

In an article entitled, "A knife to a gun fight," the ADA’s Chris Johnson wrote:

When they say, "Why can't this loving couple adopt a needy child who just wants a family?" We answer that, statistically speaking, the child will be better off waiting to be adopted by a heterosexual family which can give them the benefit of both a mother and father.

However, Johnson did not cite any actual statistics.

Another “pro-family” group, the American Family Association (AFA), compared gay people to leeches this week, noted (video below).

“With the homosexual lobby, you cannot ever give them enough," AFA radio host Bryan Fischer said yesterday.

"Don't even try. There's no point in making concessions. There's no point in capitulating. There's no point in yielding to their demands. There's no point in offering them some kind of appeasement in the hopes that they will leave you alone, that they will leave you in peace. It won't work"
