TLC has aired two reality shows featuring Mormon polygamous families, but is now taking it a step further with Mormon couples in which the man is attracted to other men.

“My Husband’s Not Gay” was shot in Salt Lake City, Utah (video below), and is scheduled to air as a special on TLC in January. Three of the men are married to women, and a fourth man is a bachelor, noted The Wrap.

RawStory.com notes that the bachelor identifies himself as gay, but is trying to find a woman to marry.

While all the people are devout Mormons, there is tension as the men struggle with their same-sex attraction.

"I wouldn't change anything about him," states one wife.

"There's no marriage that is perfect, ours isn’t, but with our faith in God, we believe we can overcome it," says a husband.

"I like to say I've chosen an alternative to an alternative lifestyle," adds the bachelor.

“I get a little defensive when somebody calls my husband gay,” fumes one of the wives.
