Deadly Storms Leave Christian 'Cross' In Power Lines?

| by Michael Allen

Heavy storms hit the Atlanta area on April 5, leaving behind what many people believe is a Christian cross.

The storm system has taken five lives while sweeping through Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama, noted CNN.

WAGA posted pictures of the cross on Facebook with this caption: "A Greene County viewer finds a little bit of hope among the ruin left behind by severe storms Wednesday."

Some Facebook users saw the cross as a sign from God, while others did not:

No matter the storm, there's always hope!! Evil will never win!!

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Cor. 1:18).

Yea, power poles do tend to be shaped like crosses. You see them everywhere ... lol. Now let's put this into perspective. How many lives were destroyed from the storm? How many people died? How many people lost their homes? If you want to call this a symbol of god then this must be gods gang sign. Death card letting everyone know who did this. This doesn't give hope. It would just reflect how much of a monster god is. It's better to see it for what it really is. Just the top of a power line pole.

Just God letting everyone know who is still in control!

Hate to ruin y'all's Christian party, but y'all do know the Romans used poles and T's for crucifixion....right?

That ain't no hope. That's an accident waiting to happen.

People are so quick to point out religious artifacts in the sky or on a tree, but have absolutely no religion in their own hearts. smh.

So, the burnt Bible page found in Tennessee with that crazy forest fire, and now a cross hanging from power lines after a horrible storm... I'm not superstitious buuutttt..... crazy.

Think what you want but we Christians know the truth and in the end every knee will bow and everyone will acknowledge that Jesus is lord. We'll just see how it ends. In the meantime we'll be praying for all you who don't believe.

Maybe there's a reason bad things keep happening there. God doesn't like ugly and one day every knee will bow. The fool has said there is no God.

Geeze at the religious crap on Fox 5's feed. Its a broken pole. Its not a sign from of magic being in the sky. It's damage nothing else. And calling a storm evil. Really? Thats whats evil in your life? Blessed or stupid.. your certainly one of those.

Prayers for everyone dealing with the storm. Christian or not Christian. I believe in God and I know he is looking after all of us. All this negativity is absurd. Y'all respect everyone's beliefs whatever they may be.
