Evangelist: Christians Boycott Disney For 'LGBT Agenda'

| by Michael Allen

Evangelist Franklin Graham called on Christians to boycott Disney for promoting the "LGBT agenda" on March 2.

Graham wrote on Facebook how he was upset about a Disney XD cartoon, "Star vs. the Forces of Evil," showing same-sex couples kissing, and a gay character in the "Beauty and Beast" live action film:

Disney has aired a cartoon with same-sex couples kissing. It has also been announced that their new movie "Beauty and the Beast" will feature a gay character in an attempt to normalize this lifestyle. They’re trying to push the LGBT agenda into the hearts and minds of your children -- watch out! Disney has the right to make their cartoons, it’s a free country.

But as Christians we also have the right not to support their company. I hope Christians everywhere will say no to Disney. I met Walt Disney when I was a young boy -- he was very gracious to me, my father Billy Graham, and my younger brother when we visited. He would be shocked at what has happened to the company that he started.

In more spiritual outrage, a mom in Milwaukee wants a public school teacher fired for using a Ouija board during class on Feb. 24, reports WISN.

The mom, who asked not to be identified, told the news station that the Ouija board was used in her 5-year-old son's class.

"They were shutting off the lights and making it dark and talking to spirits," the mom stated. "That's not something that should be at school."

The teacher informed the mom via email that the Ouija board had been in class since Halloween:

The kids have been asking for a scary story and I got the board and moved the paper clip to answer some of their questions. They asked about scary characters in movies. I did not say there were spirits. It was all done in fun. I understand your concern. It was silly and I'm sorry. I will take the board home and this won't happen again.

Even though the Ouija board has been in the child's classroom for months, he is now having nightmares, according to his mom.

"He's scared now to go to bed at night, to be in the dark, anything alone," the mom said.

The child's family believes kindergartners are too young to be exposed to the concepts involved with Ouija boards.

Pending the outcome of an investigation, the teacher was placed on administrative leave, according to a Milwaukee Public Schools spokeswoman.
