Designer John Galliano Convicted of Anti-Semitism

Fashion designer John Galliano was convicted in Paris on Thursday of hurling anti-Semitic slurs in two separate incidents. The judge decided not to send him to jail for six months; rather, Galliano was fined, and then the judge rescinded the fine.
