Norwegian police have arrested Anders Behring Breivik in connection with the worst massacre in that country's history. His dual attack on Norway began with a bomb explosion in Oslo that killed seven and culminated with a horrific shooting spree on a tiny island that left a staggering 84 dead.
The blond-hair and blue-eyed Norweigan Breivik, 32, is described as a right-wing Christian fundamentalist who, police say, may have anti-Muslim views. The Daily Mail of London said Breivik "emerged as a Right-wing extremist bitterly opposed to Norway’s tradition of open-minded liberalism. His internet postings betray a hatred of multi-culturalism and include offensive references to ‘Somali immigrants with full Norwegian passports’ living off state benefits and sending money home to their Muslim relatives."
Breivik reportedly owns a farm on the outskirts of Oslo, which allegedly enabled him to purchase and store six tons of fertilizer.
According to the alleged killer's Facebook page, Breivik is interested in politics, violent video games, the movies 300, Gladiator and the TV shows Dexter and True Blood.

Breivik is suspected of dressing up as a police officer and killing scores of teenagers at a youth retreat on the island of Utoya. He allegedly lured teens in by calling for them to come closer -- then shot them dead.
According to the Telegraph in London: On the Facebook page attributed to him, Mr Breivik describes himself as a Christian and a conservative. It listed his interests as hunting, body building and freemasonry. His profile also listed him as single. The page has since been taken down.
Police chief Svinung Sponheim said that internet posting by Breivik suggested he has "some political traits directed toward the right, and anti-Muslim views."
