The WBC used the Boston Marathon attacks to spread their message of hate. Not surprisingly, they believe homosexuals should be killed or else attacks like this will continue. The WBC tweeted, “USA must institute death penalty for f*gs/dykes, or violence will fully consume u!”
The Topeka, Kan., independent church is run by Fred Phelps and consists mostly of his family. WBC is best known for homophobic and anti-Semitic ideology and the picketing of everything from children’s movies, like Harry Potter, to American soldier’s funerals.
Their vast picketing schedule used to be posted on their website GodHatesF*gs.com, until it was hacked and shut down.

WBC claimed the school shooting in Newtown, C.T., in December was God’s wrath for gay marriage. They intended on picketing the funerals of the 20 children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
