During a debate about public decorations inside a courthouse in Loudoun County, Virginia, someone decided to set up a Santa Claus skeleton hanging on a cross (video below).
It didn't stay up long. The display was knocked down and the owner came and took it away. The incident fueled a local debate about free speech and the right to public Christmas displays on community property.
The crucified Santa was replaced by a lengthy letter to Christians, signed by “Jesus,” written by the Nova Atheist Organization.
