Video: Mike Huckabee Misquotes, Lectures Obama on Christianity

| by Michael Allen

Appearing at the annual CPAC conference, Fox News Host Mike Huckabee claimed that President Obama thinks he's a "theologian" for daring to cite the bible during the National Prayer Breakfast last week (video below).

Huckabee, who once suggested President Obama was not born in the US, falsely claimed that Obama said that "Jesus would want us to pay higher tax rates."

Huckabee went on to lecture Obama on Old Testament tithing that was addressed to the Jews centuries ago, but claimed it applies to President Obama today. Huckabee attacked Obama for not giving more money to charity per his income tax returns, which may or may not reflect Obama's tithing.

However, Obama actually wanted the wealthy to pay the same as everyone else in taxes in his speech last week and said: "And I think to myself, if I’m willing to give something up as somebody who’s been extraordinarily blessed, and give up some of the tax breaks that I enjoy, I actually think that’s going to make economic sense. But for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus’s teaching that “for unto whom much is given, much shall be required.”
