| by Michael Allen

Kiah Zabel, a college student who announced on Facebook that she was a lesbian, could be kicked out of the campus dorms at Rochester College in Michigan, if she doesn’t remove the posting from the social networking site (video below).

According to Fox 2 News, Zabel, posted an image on Facebook that read: “Out…Proud…Lesbian.”

Congress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?

Brian Cole, the Dean of Students, sent Zabel a letter asking her to take down the posting: “I appreciate your move towards honesty and being the real you, but I’m going to have to insist that you change your Facebook banner picture."

“‘Out…Proud…Lesbian’ is not really consistent with the heritage of Rochester College and has proven to already be disruptive among fellow students who are really bothered by it.”

Zabel responded: “Christians are supposed to love others and they love themselves,” she said. “Why am I being punished for being who I am?”
