Former Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt recently opposed Newt Gingrich in episode two of his ongoing video series (below).
Klingenschmitt is upset that Newt Gingrich said that same marriage equality was eventually going to happen, reports RightWingWatch.org.
Popular VideoPeople were so furious about this Pepsi ad that Pepsi pulled it after just one day. Watch it here and decide if it's offensive:
Gingrich said in December 2012: "It is in every family … It is in every community. The momentum is clearly now in the direction in finding some way to … accommodate and deal with reality. And the reality is going to be that in a number of American states, and it will be more after 2014, gay relationships will be legal, period.”
Klingenschmitt claimed that Gingrich is trying to "present himself as the left-wing, moderate Republican candidate" for 2016.
Klingenschmitt added that the Bible says that "homosexual acts are worthy of death" and Gingrich has been influenced by a "demonic voice" by supporting gay marriage.
Klingenschmitt also said Gingrich reached out to him during his presidential run in 2012.
