Video: Bill Maher Mocks Focus on the Family for Its 34 Failed Predictions

| by Michael Allen

On Friday's 'Real Time with Bill Maher,' the acidic host asked why the Christian organization Focus on the Family was wrong when making 34 dire predictions if Barack Obama was elected in 2008.

Maher read out some of Focus on the Family's 34 failed predictions, including the end of the Pledge of Allegiance, confiscation of all guns, free abortion, banning of the Boy Scouts and pornography available at all gas stations, reports Mediaite.con.

Maher then called Focus on the Family an "anti-gay lobbying group disguised as a church."

Maher concluded: "Is there no penalty in America any more for just being wrong? Wrong. Forget ideology, you thought something in the future would go a certain way, great stakes were riding on whether you got it right, and you didn’t."
