Rev. Franklin Graham made the claim on Fox News that Muslims had "infiltrated" the U.S. government and were advising the Obama White House. He seemed taken aback that any Muslim would be in public service, noted (video below). Rev. Graham was appearing on "The O’Reilly Factor"  on Feb. 26.

"One of the problems we have in the West is that our governments, especially in Washington, has been infiltrated by Muslims who are advising the White House, who I think are part of the problem," said Rev. Graham.

When Fox News host Bill O'Reilly asked Rev. Graham to name the Muslims, he was unable to do so.

"I can get those for you Bill, but I do know that they are there, and I've been told this by a number of people, that the influence, I'm not saying they are sitting next to the president whispering in his ear, but they are in the halls and they are speaking to the staffers and they are influencing," added Rev. Graham.

It may be possible Rev. Graham was referring to pro-Muslim lobbyists, which would be legal under U.S. law.

Rev. Graham recently claimed on Facebook that President Barack Obama "defends Islam and chastises Christians, rebukes our allies and befriends our enemies, and fully supports gay marriages and abortion but denies the religious freedoms of those who don't agree."

Rev. Graham gave no specific examples of Obama defending Islam, chastising Christians or denying religious freedoms.
