Rev. Franklin Graham Apologizes For Questioning Pres. Obama's Faith

After denying several times that he ever questioned President Obaam's religious faith, pastor Franklin Graham has now issued an apology for questioning Obama's religious faith.

Graham, son of evangelical pastor Billy Graham, provided a statement after being criticized by the NAACP and a group of black religious leaders: “I regret any comments I have ever made which may have cast any doubt on the personal faith of our president, Mr. Obama.”

“I apologize to him and to any I have offended for not better articulating my reason for not supporting him in this election — for his faith has nothing to do with my consideration of him as a candidate.”

In addition to questioning Obama's faith, Graham has also questioned whether the president was born in the U.S. and has stated that Muslims considered Obama "a Muslim."
