Pennsylvania lawmakers are debating HB 300 and SB 300, which would “ban discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity or expression statewide in employment, housing, credit and public accommodations.”

However, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is worried about HB 300, which also states in part:

...further providing for unlawful discriminatory practices, for prohibition of certain real estate practices, for powers and duties of commission, for education program and for construction and exclusiveness of remedy.

According to CBN, the "education program" part possibly means "subjecting students to uncomfortable nude encounters with members of the opposite gender."

Appearing on CBN's Wednesday show, Dr. Linda Mintle claimed the bill could harm survivors of rape and sexual abuse (video below), noted RightWingWatch.org.

"We're talking about a small group of children, or teens, that will declare themselves, and they can do this by saying today they feel like a girl and they can go into the girls' locker rooms," Mintle said. "So it's going to be very confusing. And one of the issues I was thinking, one of the ramifications, what if a naked boy is in the locker room in a high school and a girl has been sexually abused or raped, and she sees that boy, what if she begins to have flashbacks or has problems?"
