Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) offered advice to the Republican Party today on how to defeat possible Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Rep. Bachmann told Christian radio host Jan Markell that Republicans had to "cry out to God" in order to defeat Clinton, whom she compared to Goliath, noted RightWingWatch.org (audio below).

“All David needed was one smooth stone to fell the giant. It wasn’t the stone, it wasn’t David, it was the strong right arm of a holy God. And, again, I believe that it’s, in some ways, up to us. If we repent, if we cry out to God, we have no idea what the Lord God will do for us in 2016,” claimed Rep. Bachmann.

Rep. Bachmann also called immigration reform “a political suicide journey” for Republicans (audio below).

"I got to tell you, I’ve been shocked and appalled by the conservatives who have gotten on board this train of amnesty for illegal aliens. I’ve been absolutely floored. For some reason they’re on a political suicide journey to make sure that this happens,” said Rep. Bachmann.

“This will hurt and forever structurally change our country into the future and I think it will hurt us from a national security perspective as well.”
