Linda Harvey claimed on her "Mission America" radio show on Monday that gay people are "empty" inside and are attracted to people of the same sex because they want to “absorb” the personalities of others.

"Those who have left homosexuality talk about how they once felt empty, not identifying at all with other boys and girls. Sometimes that results in a person wanting to absorb the personality and identity of another person, even someone of the same sex, because the vacant feeling inside is so great," claimed Harvey, noted (audio below).

"A troubled relationship with one's parents can leave a child with a 'missing element.' When others seem to have meaning and purpose, the feelings of self-pity can be overwhelming."

Harvey did not provide any proof of her claims and failed to mention that people of all types of sexual orientation can feel "empty" and unable to "identify" with other people.
