Fox Business radio host Don Imus and guest Fox News political analyst Kirsten Powers spoke today about Bill O'Reilly's "bible thumper" comment.
O'Reilly recently fought with conservative Laura Ingraham over his comment, reports CrooksandLiars.com (video below).
During their conversation, Imus said that the “Gospel of Judas Iscariot,” which is not included in the bible, provided evidence that Jesus Christ was a homosexual, reports Mediaite.com (video below).
“You know there’s a Gospel of Judas floating around,” Imus explained. “There were hundreds of gospels written, only four made it into the bible. There was the Gospel of Thomas, Mary had a gospel, they all had a gospel. But Judas, there’s some indication there that Jesus may have been gay.”
Oh, come on!” Powers replied. “That’s ridiculous.”
Imus then compared O'Reilly to North Korea's dictator: "I like O'Reilly because I think he is like Kim Jong-Un. He's just completely insane."
The Gospel of Judas, which was written by Gnostics, contradicts the bible in many places, including the claim that Judas' betrayal of Christ was done in obedience to instructions given by Christ.
