ESPN is Forcing Men to Think About Homosexuality, Warns Christian Radio Host (Audio)
Speaking on her American Family Association radio show last week, Christian host Sandy Rios warned that young people were being "brainwashed" in public schools and men were being forced to think about homosexuality on ESPN.
Rios read a letter from a 19-year-old listener who condemned the Michael Sam Kiss, which caused him to give up on sports "because the only way to get them is through a highly-biased liberal form of media," noted RightWingWatch.org (audio below).
"I think it's a dilemma for ESPN and men who love sports," added Rios. "Now, to have this folded into ESPN and so blatantly, making men stop and think about things they don’t really want to ponder.”
Rios also complained about “ESPN’s brazen forcing of this on the male population and some women, I might too add."
In more Michael Sam news, a reality series planned about the gay football player has been placed on hold by the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), reports NBC Sports.
Sam's agent announced the program would be on hold after a meeting with the St. Louis Rams, who drafted the defensive end.
Last week, Sam said in a statement, "My focus is on playing football to the very best of my ability.”
