The 11th annual Texas Muslim Capitol Day was met by an angry protest of about 20 Christian activists in Austin, Texas, today.

The Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) organized the Muslim event, which was held outside the Capitol (video below).

While Muslims prayed and spoke, Christian activists from the Patriot Defense Foundation stood nearby and yelled, "Go home, the Americans are too many!" and "A prayer to a false god!"

According to, some of the signs carried by the Christian protesters included, “Radical Islam Is The New Nazi," "Go Home & Take Obama With You" and "I Serve A Risen Savior Jesus Christ! Muhammad Is Dead.”

The Texas Tribune reports that an unidentified woman interrupted the Muslim group's press conference (video below) by grabbing a podium microphone and yelling, "Islam will never dominate the United States and by the grace of God, it will not dominate Texas!”

When some Muslim children sang the National Anthem towards the end of the event, the Christian activists screamed, "Assimilate or leave!" and "Great song, now obey the laws of that land!" and "If you're gonna sing it, put your hand over your heart like a real American!"

Texas State Representative Molly White (R) did not attend the event, but posted on her Facebook page:

"Today is Texas Muslim Capital Day in Austin. The House is in recess until Monday. Most Members including myself are back in District. I did leave an Israeli flag on the reception desk in my office with instructions to staff to ask representatives from the Muslim community to renounce Islamic terrorist groups and publicly announce allegiance to America and our laws. We will see how long they stay in my office."
