Christian Radio Host Warns About Bilingualism (Video)

More than half of the millennials (ages 18-34) living in Los Angeles are bilingual, which means they speak more than one language.

Voice of America noted that these numbers came from the U.S. Census Bureau, which found that the nationwide bilingual number is 25 percent.

According to, this was disturbing news to Bryan Fischer, a Christian radio host for the American Family Association (video below).

Fischer warned on his show today that people speaking different languages, which he called "linguistic isolation," was a sign of God's judgement on America.

Fischer said:

Here's the bottom line, when God's judgment falls on a nation for turning its back on Him, one form that that judgment takes is that people lose their ability to talk to each other. It's a form and expression of God's judgment. Linguistic confusion can grind a once powerful nation, known for its magnificent building projects, to a halt and cause it to disappear into the fog of antiquity.

He then recalled the transcontinental railway and other famous structures in the U.S. (that were built in part by immigrants from other countries).

Fischer added:

I believe God's judgment is beginning to settle in on this land in the form of linguistic isolation. You know, if you're gonna carry out any type of project together, you've got to speak the same language.

Fischer failed to mention that the Bible was originally written in three languages: Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic.
