| by Michael Allen

Christian radio host John Balyo was arrested near Gaylord, Michigan, on Friday for allegedly paying another adult to arrange a sexual encounter with a male under 18 years old.

According to WZZM 13, Balyo, 35, was arrested at a Christian music festival by "Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Michigan State Police and the Battle Creek Police Department" (video below).

Balyo, who was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, was arrested under the federal government's "Operation Predator" program. They found Baylo after first arresting Ronald Moser.

Moser allegedly owned a website offering adults sex with underage boys. Balyo was reportedly one of Moser's customers, MLive.com notes.

Cornerstone University, which owns WCSG in Grand Rapids, said in statement on Saturday: "Effective today, John Balyo is no longer affiliated with WCSG Radio. Chris Lemke, general manager of WCSG, will address this matter on-air at 7:30 am during Monday's (June 23) WCSG morning show."

Balyo, a graduate of Cornerstone University, has been removed from the WCSG website, but an archived copy still exists and says he worked there for eight years.
