Christian Groups Slam Disney Channel for Lesbian Moms on 'Good Luck Charlie' (Audio)

| by Michael Allen

Christian conservative groups have been slamming the Disney Channel because its show “Good Luck Charlie” recently featured two lesbians as the "two moms" of Charlie's play date.

One Million Moms, which is part of the anti-gay American Family Association, has warned Christians that Disney will “corrupt the children’s network with LGBT content.”

Author and commentator Larry Tomczak also slammed the episode in The Christian Post, claiming it was part of an agenda "to destroy biblical morality, marriage and family in our generation."

Tony Perkins, president of the Christian-based Family Research Council, went after the Disney Channel during his "Washington Watch" broadcast (audio below) this week, notes RightWingWatch.org.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

"If you're looking for conservative values at Disney, it really is a small world after all," said Perkins.

"OneMillionMoms is flooding the channel with complaints," added Perkins. "Like us, they know what the research says: which is that kids who are deprived of a mom or dad grow up with significantly more emotional and academic problems. So it's a little ironic that the show's called, 'Good luck, Charlie.' Without a dad, he'll need it."

Perkins did not state the exact research which claims, "Kids who are deprived of a mom or dad grow up with significantly more emotional and academic problems."
