Fleur Cakes in Mt. Hood, Oregon, is refusing to bake a cake for the lesbian wedding of Erin Hanson and Katie Pugh. The owner of Fleur Cakes, Pam Regentin, cites her Christian faith as the reason for the refusal.

Pugh told KATU-TV that she asked Regentin: “Just to be clear, are you not making a cake for us because we’re a same sex couple?”

Regentin reportedly replied "yes."

According to Salon.com, Oregon law requires that companies  provide “full and equal accommodations without any distinction on account of race, color, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.”

“I believe I have the liberty to live by my principles,” Regentin said in response to the Oregon law. “It’s a personal conviction. It’s not a matter of being right or wrong. It’s my belief.”
