Video: Bishop Thomas John Paprocki Claims People Could Lose Salvation For Voting Wrongly

| by Michael Allen

Bishop Thomas John Paprocki, of Springfield, Illinois, is warning people that voting for the wrong presidential candidate could put their eternal salvation in jeopardy (video below).

Bishop Paprocki slammed the Democratic Party for temporarily removing God from their party platform, being pro-choice and saying “gay rights are human rights.” He said those planks demonstrate that the Democrats “explicitly endorse intrinsic evils.”

However, he did not believe the Republican party was advocating any "intrinsic evils" even though the GOP would cut the social safety net for the poor, reports RightWingWatch.org.

Bishop Paprocki said: "I am not telling you which party or which candidates to vote for or against, but I am saying that you need to think and pray very carefully about your vote, because a vote for a candidate who promotes actions or behaviors that are intrinsically evil and gravely sinful makes you morally complicit and places the eternal salvation of your own soul in serious jeopardy.”

Bishop Paprocki failed to cite any verse in the bible that supported his claim that people could lose their salvation by casting the wrong vote.
