Tim Tebow to Speak at Church That Opposes Catholics, Gays, President Obama (Video)
Quarterback Tim Tebow is still looking for a new NFL team to sign with, but has reportedly found a new speaking engagement at the First Baptist Church Dallas, where Pastor Robert Jeffress has attacked Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, gays and lesbians and President Obama.
According to RightWingWatch.org, Pastor Jeffress once said that Mitt Romney’s Mormon faith made him a member of a “cult” that is “from the pit of Hell.”
Jeffress ended up supporting Romney over President Obama, whom he claimed was “paving the way for the future reign of the anti-christ.”
Pastor Jeffress has also said that Catholicism is a "counterfeit religion" represents “the genius of Satan" (video below).

Pastor Jeffress has called homosexuals “perverse,” “miserable” and “abnormal” people who are using "Chinese brainwashing techniques that have been used for hundreds of years" to get people to accept homosexuality as a "normal alternative lifestyle."

As an active, believing
As an active, believing Mormon I must defend Reverend Jeffress. Although I do not accept the classification he made of us as a cult, Reverend Jeffress has tried to be civil and mature in statements I have read made during the Romney-Obama presidential election race. He deserves to be treated with kindness and fairness.

Oh wow. Religion is religion,
Oh wow. Religion is religion, just because someone believes in something a different faith doesn't mean that it is evil and is wrong. And the anti-christ bullshit, really? He is a president serving out his term. I believe in god and jesus and heaven and eveything but people like this is why I just don't claim a religion.
I am sorry you feel that
I am sorry you feel that way.
Sounds like a personal problem. If you "believe in God", then believe in His Word and "do not forsake the assembling of the saints"..........that means GO TO CHURCH!
If you keep your eyes on Christ, then you won't judge others in the church; you'll be too busy BEING the church.
Best regards.
