On the Liberty Counsel's conservative Christian radio program 'Faith and Freedom,' Staver said: "Once they get their view enshrined into law, like is this law here, they will then use it to abolish marriage and abolish morality and punish anyone who does not agree and affirm their idea. This is a wake-up call to America."
Staver is the dean of Liberty University School of Law and chairman of Liberty Counsel.
