Atheists Set Up Anti-Christmas Nativity Scene in Madison, Wisconsin Capitol Rotunda
For the second year in a row, the Freedom From Religion Foundation in Madison, Wisconsin set up their own version of an anti-Christian nativity scene in the Capitol Rotunda.
The display proclaims Winter Solstice and the wise men are Emma Goldman, the goddess Venus, the Statue of Liberty, Charlies Darwin, Albert Einstein and Thomas Jefferson. The baby Jesus has been replaced with a baby girl, reports RawStory.com.
FFRF co-president Annie Laurie Gaylor said in a statement: “We nonbelievers don’t mind sharing the season with Christians, but we think there should be some acknowledgment that the Christians really ‘stole’ the trimmings of Christmas, and the sun-god myths, from pagans."
The Freedom From Religion Foundation set up the atheist display last year after the Wisconsin Family Action placed a Nativity scene in the Wisconsin Capitol Rotunda for the first time.

I think "stole" may be a bit
I think "stole" may be a bit harsh. "Copied" is certainly fair.
After all, religion has told enough undeniable lies. Personally, I'll give them a break on this one.on this one.
If freedom means anything at all, it is the liberty to tell others what they do not want to hear.
