Christian Video Blogger: God 'Staged' Wife's Pregnancy, Miscarriage

| by Michael Allen

Christian video bloggers Sam and Nia Rader announced on a video (below) on Aug. 5 that Nia was pregnant after Sam secretly tested some of Nia's urine from a toilet. The video went viral with more than 14 million views.

The Raders announced on Aug. 8 that Nia had suffered a miscarriage (video below), which got 4 million views. YouTube viewers later questioned whether Nia was actually pregnant.

Sam posted a new video (below) on Aug. 14 directed at the "haters" who drink "Haterade," reports Gawker.

Inside his home, Sam expresses his displeasure that some reporters have contacted medical personnel and questioned the scientific veracity of doing a pregnancy test from toilet water.

Outside his house, with his kids playing in the background, Sam says the "un-acceptance" that has been shown to his family has been a "blessing" to him, but adds how the media is trying to put his family in a "bad light for the most part."

Sam compares the media to the "world," and then quotes John 15:19 from the Bible: "If you are of the world, the world will love you as its own, but because you are not of the world, but I have chose you from the world, the world hates you."

Sam adds:

"I just think that's so amazing: Because I chose you, the world hates you. So we're hated. I mean God told us that we’re going to be hated, so what we’re seeing right now is God’s will being played out for our lives as Christians. We’re being persecuted somewhat.

"And this is what God told us is going to happen, so I can’t help but let it excite me. Every time I read these articles, not a single article has got me down.

"In fact, I’m laughing about them, for the most part. It’s just like this huge reminder that God chose our family, and so we’re getting this hatred. That’s just what comes with being a Christian and being a God-filled family."

After quoting another Bible verse about deception and persecution, Sam states:

"So the world is choosing to be deceived, and there’s nothing we can do about it. That’s why I’m not trying to defend myself to anybody. Anybody who asks me, 'Was it fake?' I'm just like, 'I don’t even feel like responding to it, but no, it wasn’t fake.' That’s pretty much all I’ll say.

"Or like one interviewer asked me, 'Was it all staged? A lot of people think it was staged.' I’m like, 'You know what? It was staged. It was all orchestrated by God above and nothing less.'

"I’ll say stuff like that just to kind of throw them off, but it doesn’t make me happy that people are deceived, but I can't help but let it make happy that God chose our family out of the world."

Sam closes by telling the haters, "Keep it coming guys, hit us with your best shot!"
