Pastor and Christian radio host Kevin Swanson compared gay people to cannibals and Nazis during his April 26 broadcast (video below).
According to RightWingWatch.org, Swanson was upset that ABC recently aired an episode of "Once Upon a Time" that showed a lesbian kiss, and he advised parents to remove their kids from public schools:
"We're as bad as we possibly could be as a society. Friends, we're looking at the entire destruction of sexuality, the entire destruction of entire civilization. Well, what do parents do? My encouragement: Get your kids out of the gender-neutral schools. Get your kids out of the gender-confused mess.
"Pull them away from the wrong discipleship program and please do not send them to the [North American Man/Boy Love Association] preschool right down the street or the [Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network] kindergarten or the gender-blendered primary school. Please, do not send them to the NAMBLA pedophilia preschool or the transgendered kindergarten."
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
Swanson went on to invoke Matthew 18:6 spoken by Jesus in the Bible about not leading children into sin, which he added to his various targets:
"Woe to the man that transgenders the restrooms in the public schools. Woe to the man who opens up the floodgates, opens up the floodgates to every form of sexual perversion for 12-year-olds, 14-year-olds, 16-year-olds and 18-year-olds. Woe to the parents that open up the opportunities, the floodgates, the discipleship programs for children to attend the gender-blendered schools, the GLSEN kindergarten program."
Swanson invoked the late country singer Johnny Cash, told society that God was going to cut them down and concluded: "Yeah, I know homosexuals love each other, and cannibals love their victims, they taste good, and the Nazis love their children, but that's not love, that's not love."
RightWingWatch.org notes that Swanson made a similar statement in 2014 when he objected to a pro-LGBT video produced by graham cracker brand Honey Maid: "The problem with this 'love' thing is you can define it anyway you want. Homosexuals love their friends and cannibals love their victims, they taste good."
