CitizenLink, the political arm of the Christian ministry Focus on the Family, called for GOP candidates to form a “dream team” that does not include Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on March 1 (video below).
CitizenLink’s CEO Paul Weber said Trump stated six months ago that he would appoint a U.S. Supreme Court justice like his sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, an appeals judge for the Third Circuit.
Weber said Barry authored an opinion that overturned a New Jersey ban on partial birth abortion.
According to The Washington Post, Barry was one of three judges on a panel, including future Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, who ruled in 2000 that New Jersey's law was "unconstitutionally vague" and "unduly burdened a woman's constitutional right to obtain an abortion.”

Barry noted that the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against similar bans.
CitizenLink’s Kim Trobee mentioned a recent poll showed that Trump would lose to Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont in a general election.
”What do we do about that?” Trobee asked Weber, who replied:
Let me bold and say what people across America are telling me: It’s time for true leadership. It’s time for the candidates that remain in the race, i.e. Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Ben Carson, and perhaps even Carly Fiorina, get in a room and show true leadership and work out amongst yourselves what the ticket is going look like.

Who is going to be the president, who is going to be the vice president, who is going be the attorney general, who is going be the secretary of state, who is going be in charge of Health and Human Services? You put those five smooth stones together in a dream team, and that’s a formidable leadership team. That’s what Americans are asking for across this country.
However, all of the president's cabinet positions, except the vice president, have to be approved by a majority of the U.S. Senate, so it's not clear how these choices could legally be made before the general election.
Trobee asked Weber if his plan was possible, and Weber quoted a verse from the Bible (2 Chronicles 7:14) specifically addressed to Jewish people 2,000 years ago: “If my people will humble themselves and pray.”
