Christian Activist: God Will Curse Trump Opponents' Kids (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Christian activist Mary Colbert warned on March 31 that God would place curses on the children and grandchildren of people who oppose President Donald Trump because he is God's "chosen one" (video below).

Mary made her dire warning on "The Jim Bakker Show," notes Right Wing Watch:

It’s not that Donald Trump is all that perfect of a guy. We all know he’s not. And we know that he’s not necessarily perfect in every way that we would like. That’s not how God works. He works through the ones he chooses.

We don’t choose them. All we have to do is recognize them and when you recognize a chosen one and you have the discernment to know that they’ve been chosen and know that that’s the will of God, then your life will be blessed.

And if you come against the chosen one of God, you are bringing upon you and your children and your children’s children curses like you have never seen. It puts a holy fear in me.

In June 2016, Mary's husband, Don Colbert, said on "The Jim Bakker Show" that "the spirit of Antichrist" was on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, reported Right Wing Watch:

That spirit of Antichrist is majorly on one of these candidates, and that’s Hillary Clinton, and Jesus even said there will be many Antichrists in the world. Well, that spirit of Antichrist is on our president right now. So, as Christians, we have got to turn out and vote. If we don’t turn out and vote, we are electing Hillary Clinton.

Only a few months after Don accused Clinton of having the spirit of the Antichrist, he and Mary signed an open letter on Trump's website in October 2016 that accused Clinton's campaign of using "demeaning and troubling rhetoric" toward Catholics and Christians.

In December 2016, Mary told Charisma News that she had known before the election that Trump would be president:

I personally immediately knew and believed it was a word from God. I really thought, in reading the details of it, this is so God. Because God is detailed, not general. And so I immediately became very excited about it, shared the word with almost every major minister in the country. I made copies and mailed it out to them, so that everybody would know that this was probably going to be the direction our Lord was going to take.
