Brad Pitt Hated Religious Childhood: "It was Stifling"

| by

Brad Pitt is making news about how he hated religion being a prominent part of his childhood.

During the Cannes Film Festival premiere of his film Tree of Life on Monday, Brad spoke of his feelings about growing up in a religious family in Oklahoma.

“I got brought up being told things were God’s way, and when things didn’t work out it was called God’s plan,” Pitt said, according to Extra. “I’ve got my issues with it. Don’t get me started. I found it very stifling.”

So my question to you is, if you grew up with or without religion as a child, how did you feel about it?  Everyone has a right to their own opinion about  religion.  How do approach religion with your children?
