Pro Lifer Randall Terry Disrupts Howard Dean Meeting
Former Democrat presidential candidate, party chair, and Planned Parenthood board member Howard Dean spoke at a Reston, VA, town hall meeting with Congressman James Moran on August 25.
Pro-life activist Randall Terry was also there.
Before the event, Terry staged stabbings of preborns and grandma outside...
Terry went on to disrupt the event, as previously promised. This clip is a tad long at 7:12, but the entire thing is raucous and interesting. For those wanting to fast forward, Terry is first seen at 2:05. Moran mentions Terry from the mic twice, at 3:22 and 4:03....
Gotta say that although I don't like some of Terry's antics, he does serve a purpose of increasing the tension about abortion, as evidenced particularly in the bottom clip.

Why is he our friend? When Randall Terry resorts to these outlandish and childish acts of behavior, more and more people are turned off by these antics and the bizarre behavior that is typically exhibited by these right-wings fanatics! Rarely, do you see this type of behavior displayed by our side over the years! We have the common sense and the good judgement of the majority of the American people on our side! We recognize the anguish that women go through when contemplating having an abortion . The pro-life movement is losing ever more whatever its effectiveness it ever had which was little to begin with. The vast majority of Democrats are pro-choice and every opinion poll shows majority support for the pro-choice side. Randall Terry and his little band of thugs and idiots, need to recognize the futility of their position and move on to another topic. The longer he persists in these irresponsible acts, the more of a bafoon he becomes in the eyes of most Americans !
What's the difference between Randall Terry on the right and Penn & Teller on the left?
They're entertainers, comedians, magicians. They put on shows. That's what they do. They don't show up at the RNC and do some sort of thing where they make human decency disappear.
Human decency?Come on now, where can you find that any more?
far too much energy on being seen and loud, and not enough on listening. Allow me this tiny prediction (it's only a guess on my part folks, don't put money on it) that the Dems will leave the station without you.
At some point, the voting majority will get so tired of listening to the same rhetoric that they will buck up and vote the block. There is even chatter of using reconciliation. Do you really want to be completely shut out of the discussion? Because that is probably what will happen if your team can't be a little more respectful and enter into adult give and take, not this amateurish talk show antic of a protest.
I find this funny when this kind of stuff is OK for the left. But some how bad for the right.
I am a Libertarian so don't go calling me a rightringer
It's only funny because we are so exhausted that the only left to do is laugh. You are completely right Country, both sides have become deplorable in their tactics on dealing with issues. It's just that it's the Rights turn to be sitting at the children 's table. An election or two from now, an issue or two from now, and the Left will become the screaming banshies.
Im not sure who called you a rightwinger. I would say that you are definitely right of center, but that hasn't stopped you and I from agreeing time to time.
Yes thats all I can do any more is laugh.I just dont see any good from the two parties any more.
Yes I definitely agree with you on this one!
There is nothing wrong in being labelled a right winger when that is what you are! Libertarians are politically speaking, conservatives that believe in as little government as possible! They believe in strong national defense but little else. That is a rightwing agenda! Libertarians, have never been able to be influential because they are never able to explain how to pay for all the services that we as Americans take for granted! The government has a vital role to play in making sure that unscrupulous capitalists, never again screw the people out of their money ! We need regulations and people to watch out for us-never again do we want what happened to us last year! Safety in the workplace, govt oversight to make sure our food is safe; airline safety as well as research into cancer treatments, etc... are just a few examples where government has been so vital! Libertarians, like you, would do away with all of that and hope that free enterprise would pickup the slack! How foolish to thank that!
What America are you talking about. Are you still on the bottle? Sucking America dry with freebys
Its time for the people to stand up and get off the governments nipple. And work for each other.
